We just made it !.....thats what I remember about meeting Elvis Costello. A friend and I had wasted several hours waiting for a flight we had tipped to be Elvis’s flight into Sydney during his tour in October 2009..
It was looking bad, but we knew he would be somewhere in Sydney as he was due to perform that very night, we decided we’d go to the venue and see what, if anything was happening. we had been there little more than 15 minutes and Elvis pulled up with his band, he was dressed in a really cool outfit and was very comical with us, more than happy to sign the painting and my friends records, when we asked for the photo he struck a really cool menacing pose, what a great guy !
