Story

My wife is huge fan of Tori, so I set about painting this three piece of Tori passing through time when she visited Sydney on tour in September 06. Having met my favourite band, The Stones and getting autographs from them, I had to try my best to deliver the same feeling to my wife by meeting her favourite.

The good thing was, we had been told that Tori is very friendly to her fans, and spends plenty of time doing ‘meet and greets’ after and before her shows.

We queued at the venue to meet Tori, and not surprisingly my wife and I were first in line ! Eventually the line contained about 50 people. Tori soon came out after about 5 hours of waiting. I held my painting up as she approached her fans, and she had the greatest look of surprise on her face, she seemed genuinely overwhelmed by her fans waiting and the painting I had with me. She complimented me on my work and signed her name and love beautifully.

Tori is a wonderful person, one of the most friendliest rock stars I have met, as im sure many will agree.
